Focal Black and White Photoshop effect

Focal Black and White effect is one which desaturates a portion of a color photo and retains a portion in color.
It can be done in any version of photoshop.
Step 1 : I have chosen this free stock image. You will find it here
It belongs to Falln-Stock
Step 2 : Click the Elliptical Marquee Tool.
Step 3 : In the Feather in top panel set a high value. I am using a high resolution image. I have set it at 60.
Step 4 : Press SHIFT. Drag out with the Marquee Tool. You will have a perfect circle. Place the circle where you want it, by moving it with the cursor.
Step 5 : Press CTRL+SHIFT+I. The selection is inversed.
Step 6 : Press CTRL+SHIFT+U to desaturate. Press CTRL+D to deselect.
The completed image. Easy was it not.
